The History of Last CallLast call was a band formed by a guy named Jay (don't remember his last name) and Danny Hamilton back in 1994 or 1995. My Long time friend Luke Foster was recruited to sing and play rhythm guitar. Then he brought me aboard to play bass in 1996.I was only with the band for about 6 or 7 months, but it was probably the greatest 6 or 7 months of my life. We recorded a 6 song demo in the studio, and we did a few minor gigs. I left due to musical differences, but it was not a bad split. The drummer Danny still did some recording for me from time to time, and I still hung out with them all. After leaving, they changed their name to Foil. Some time later, Luke left as well, and they got a new female singer. They dropped every one of their songs and started back from scratch. They finally broke up for good around 1998 or 1999. These 6 songs were recorded back in 1996, in a hole in the wall studio. We only got 1 real, 1 DAT Tape, and 4 mixed down cassettes, no CD. Therefore, the quality really sucks, especially since my tape is really used, and I had to try and record it onto the computer. I've done my best to restore the songs to the best quality possible. The end result wasn't great, but good enough for me. This is probably the only version of this recording left in existence. As soon as I left the band, they took their new bassist into the studio and recorded over my tracks with his. Then, they went to a better studio and recorded those plus like 6 others, and got them on CD this time. Hope you enjoyed them as much as I have.
